Welcome to our Homepage!  Hidden at the southernmost tip of Europe, the Costa de la Luz, at the beginning of the spanish South Atlantic,  you have found one of the most romantic bays of Europe with a beach that is second to none in the World, 4km  long and up to 150m wide. The climate in Atlanterra is a little different to the Mediterranean Costa del Sol being  a little less hot and much dryer in summer but still very mild and warm in Winter.  The Coastal Highway N-340 passes us by far and thus we have no passing traffic as we are at the end of a  small street that only leads to Atlanterra. Someone who does not already know of us will hardly find us. So over  the almost 50 years of her existence, Atlanterra has always remained a sort of Club where even public people  can relax unbothered, move freely and share and enjoy the fascination of this place together with their  neighbors from all countries and of all professions.  The plots and houses Atlanterra has to offer extend over a range of about 2,5 sqkm which includes two bays.  The first being the much larger bay hosts two luxurious Hotels and the apartement-zone. In the second and  smaller bay, you will find only residential Villas. As a minimum plotsize of 2000 sqm is required for the  construction of one villa, with increasing developtment the bay has turned into one splendid subtropical garden  and is continuing to do so.   Probably unique not only in this part of Spain are the environmental efforts Atlanterra has been undertaking.  Almost 30 years ago Atlanterra built her own private water purification plant and keeps it up to one of the most  modern in Andalusia that serves as reference even to public authorities. But even the purified Waters are not  being passed to the beach or the sea so that they both rewmain absolutely clear. Also there is no industry far  and wide so that you will hardly find a cleaner beach or sea for bathing as also our photos show. One of the  largest protected national parks, the “ Parque Natural del Estrecho” is directly adjaicent and several more  national parks are in the near surroundings.   Please take a look around in the Atlanterra photogallery!
